Online Member PD and Wellbeing

Online Wellbeing Series – Calm, Healthy Minds

We recognise that taking a holistic approach to mental wellbeing is more important than ever. We are pleased to provide our staff, members, and industry partners this upcoming free 4-part (30 minute) online mindfulness workshop series over 8 weeks to assist you in staying well and proactively looking after your wellbeing.

Being kind to ourselves as we navigate these challenging times vital and as we look to sustain our health both during and as we transition out.

Sally Cumming will be sharing some practical tips and strategies to a healthy mind, body and maintaining good habits year-round.

More about Sally

Sally is a Certified Mindfulness Practitioner with the (MTIA) Mindfulness Training Institute of Australia. Her background as an AEP, as well as her training in cognitive-behavioural therapy and stress physiology, means she is passionate about mental health and teaching resilience strategies that can be implemented into the workplace to reduce stress and improve mental health.

Sally teaches mindful leadership programs, as well as psychological resilience programs to employees across the not-for profit, government, education and corporate sector. She works as a mindfulness counsellor, providing training to psychologists, social workers, disability staff, specialists, WorkCover clients and individuals experiencing high levels of psychological distress, stress, anxiety and depression.

Sally is also a long-term member of Anglesea SLSC and celebrated athlete.

Member PD Series

We are pleased to have delivered our Members PD series to support you through until season commencements, to complement our Blue Connection, Female Leadership Network and other offerings.

LSV is pleased to continue to provide our People with relevant development and networking sessions, to provide information, tools and strategies that can be utilised now, for the season ahead and long into the future!

Schedule and Topics:

Three themes where delivered on Mental Wellbeing Mondays, Leadership Tuesdays and Skills Development Wednesdays for approx. 30 – 45 mins,  with the aim to build skills, provide information, insights and offer the opportunity to ask questions and learn.

After most sessions a recording will be available at the corresponding links. In some cases a presentation will be available and/or in other cases no resources will be made available after the events – depending on individual session circumstances. The best way to get the PD is to participate in the live session.

We are pleased to provide our Volunteer and club members, Industry partners and all staff a new offering, as we continue our weekly online series, delivered to you through Microsoft Teams.

We recognise that taking a holistic approach to mental wellbeing is more important than ever, this series will cover a range of topics to assist you in staying well and proactively looking after your wellbeing.
The series is delivered each Monday at 12pm, with an aim to kick of the week on the right note

Stream Two - Leadership Tuesdays

The Leadership stream will deliver Leadership topics across Club Leadership, Team Leadership and your own Leadership. This will include tools, tips and insights on a range of relevant topics.
The series will be delivered each Tuesday at 7.00pm and will run for approx. 30-45 mins.
