NSW Adult Migrant English Service (NSW AMES) has a learning resource developed through a partnership between the Australian Government Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) through the Diverse Australia Program, and Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA).

Teachers of English as an additional language wishing to prepare students for presentations or to pursue more in-depth teaching may wish to use some of the following resources.

LSV’s Swimming & Water Safety Toolkit resource provides water safety information and lessons plans to compliment programs run by LSV. Targeted predominantly to school groups ,information in the lesson plans can be tailored to English classes.
